February 24, 2023: Southfield, MI 48033 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors (Southfield, MI) and the visiting University Eagles (Ferndale, MI), saw Southfield Arts & Tech's basketball squad hold off University by a count of 51-49.
With the victory, Southfield Arts & Tech upgrades its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 8-11.
Next up, the Eagles play the Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. University will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 67-54 non-league win over Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI).
