Alabama High School Softball - Ariton bounces Highland Home
February 24, 2023: Ariton, AL 36311 Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Purple Cats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Opp for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. Ariton will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Highland Home (Highland Home, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Highland Home falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Flying squadron travel to Opp (Opp, AL) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Opp won 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Long (Skipperville, AL)
