New Mexico High School Softball - Mayfield bounces Hobbs
February 24, 2023: Las Cruces, NM 88007 Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Silver for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21.
With the loss, Hobbs falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Organ Mountain won 17-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Belen (Belen, NM)
