Texas High School Softball - Nocona holds off Southwest
February 24, 2023: Nocona, TX 76255 The Nocona Indians the visiting Southwest Raiders softball squad by a count of 11-9 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX). The Coyotes go into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Wichita Falls nudged Quanah (Quanah, TX), 21-0, in a non-league battle.
The Raiders now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rio Vista for a non-league outing on Friday, February 24. Southwest will battle a Eagles team coming off a 20-2 non-league loss to Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
