February 24, 2024: Brookwood, AL 35444 The Brookwood Panthers (Brookwood, AL) softball nipped the visiting Ardmore Tigers (Ardmore, AL), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Gordo (Gordo, AL). The Green Wave go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Gordo was edged by Hale County (Moundville, AL), 6-3, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Athens for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. Ardmore will confront a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 20-17 non-league loss to Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
