In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Pinnacle Pioneers softball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Desert Mountain Wolves.

Coming up next, the Pioneers battle the Xavier College Prep Gators (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, February 28. Pinnacle will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Gators enter the outing with a 7-0 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ).
