The Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) lacrosse routed the host Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 15-5 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Guilford for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 1. Middle Creek will face a Vikings squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Willow Spring falls to 0-1 on the year. The Storm host Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC) to face the Golden Hawks in a non-league outing on Thursday, February 27. The Golden Hawks go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Holly Springs lost 11-10 in their recent non-league outing against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)
