In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Forest Wildcats softball squad scored a good 12-2 triumph over the Lecanto Panthers.

With the triumph, Forest upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Gainesville (Gainesville, FL) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 25. The Hurricanes enter the game with a record of 0-2. Gainesville lost 8-1 in their recent non-league game against Trenton (Trenton, FL)

The Panthers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Belleview for a non-league game on Thursday, February 26. Lecanto will confront a Rattlers team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Vanguard (Ocala, FL). The Rattlers record now stands at 4-0.
