The Hopkins Royals basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Buffalo Bison to 78 in the Royals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Royals now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeLaSalle for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 1. Hopkins will meet a Islanders team coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Islanders record now stands at 17-6.
