Michigan High School Basketball - Walled Lake Western edges South Lyon
February 25, 2022: South Lyon, MI 48178 The Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI) basketball nipped the host South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), 58-53 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Captains go into the Lakes Valley test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, Kettering got by Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI), 66-57, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Walled Lake Northern for a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, March 1. South Lyon will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 49-44 league loss to Milford (Highland, MI). The Knights record now stands at 11-7.
