Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) and the visiting Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD), saw Walkersville's basketball squad hold off Poolesville by a tally of 37-34.

With the victory, Walkersville improves its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Middletown (Middletown, MD) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Middletown lost 49-41 in their recent league challenge against Walkersville (Walkersville, MD)
