Texas High School Softball - Industrial nudges Rockport-Fulton
February 25, 2022: Rockport, TX 78381 Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Cobras now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boling for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 26. Industrial will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Rockport-Fulton falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Pirates host Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX) to battle the Sandcrabs in a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Sandcrabs enter the challenge with a record of 1-8.
