February 25, 2023: Brunswick, GA 31520 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) and the host Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA), saw Locust Grove's baseball squad beat Brunswick by a margin of 6-1.
Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA) in a 5A Area 2 battle, on Monday, February 27. Locust Grove will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 12-11 non-league win over Rockdale County (Conyers, GA).
