February 25, 2023: Hueytown, AL 35023 Hueytown Golden Gophers (Hueytown, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hueytown upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Golden Gophers travel to Archbishop McCarthy (Fort Lauderdale, FL) to battle the Mavericks in a non-league test on Thursday, March 2. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 3-0.
