In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS) baseball squad triumphed over the host Indianola Academy Colonels (Indianola, MS), by a final score of 8-2.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Leland (Leland, MS) to battle the Cubs in a 2A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Indianola Academy falls to 1-2 on the season. The Colonels host Winston Academy (Louisville, MS) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 27.
