Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Redwood upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Giants travel to Petaluma (Petaluma, CA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, March 2. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 2-2. Petaluma lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against San Marin (Novato, CA)

With the defeat, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory falls to 0-2 on the season. The Fightin' irish host Sequoia (Redwood City, CA) to battle the Ravens in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 28.
