Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Verbena Red Devils (Verbena, AL), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Thorsby upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Rebels travel to Calera (Calera, AL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, February 27. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-0. Calera won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Montevallo (Montevallo, AL)

With the defeat, Verbena falls to 1-2 on the season. The Red devils travel to Isabella (Maplesville, AL) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, March 3. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-2.
