Minnesota High School Basketball - Providence Academy can't hold off Cloquet
February 25, 2023: Cloquet, MN 55720 The Cloquet Lumberjacks basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Providence Academy Lions to 61 in the Lumberjacks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Proctor for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 2. Cloquet will battle a Rails team coming off a 72-38 non-league loss to Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN). The Rails record now stands at 5-19.
The Lions (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, St. Cloud Cathedral was nudged by Milaca (Milaca, MN), 72-61, in a league contest.
