In Saturday's non-league outing, the Monsignor Farrell Lions (Staten Island, NY) basketball squad edged the visiting Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY), by a margin of 52-51.

The Lions (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's (Manhasset, NY). The Gaels go into the non-league outing with a 1-11 record.
