Minnesota High School Basketball - Winona overwhelms Kasson-Mantorville
February 25, 2023: Winona, MN 55987 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN) and the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN), saw Winona's basketball squad wallop Kasson-Mantorville by a tally of 78-48.
With the victory, Winona improves its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Winhawks travel to Faribault (Faribault, MN) to confront the Falcons in a AAA Section 1 challenge on Friday, March 3. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-23. Faribault lost 79-66 in their recent league challenge against Austin (Austin, MN)
Next up, the Komets confront the Stewartville Tigers (Stewartville, MN) in a AAA Section 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Kasson-Mantorville will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 20-4 record after their 84-65 league win over Byron (Byron, MN).
