California High School Volleyball - Downey over Burroughs
February 25, 2023: Burbank, CA 91506 Downey Vikings (Downey, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Vikings battle the Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 25. Downey will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA).
With the loss, Burroughs drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bears host West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, March 3. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 4-5.
