February 25, 2023: Downey, CA 90241 The Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA) volleyball overcame the host Downey Vikings (Downey, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Newbury Park upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Panthers host Royal (Simi Valley, CA) to face the Highlanders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 28. The Highlanders go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Royal lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA)
The Vikings (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Claremont (Claremont, CA). The Wolfpack enter the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Claremont was knocked off by Foothill (Santa Ana, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
