Louisiana High School Softball - Cedar Creek bounces Logansport
February 25, 2023: Logansport, LA 71049 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) and the host Logansport Tigers (Logansport, LA), saw Cedar Creek's softball squad achieve victory over Logansport by a count of 10-2.
The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Ascension for a non-league match on Friday, March 3. Cedar Creek will face a Spartans squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Maurepas (Maurepas, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Logansport falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA) to face the Flyers in a non-league match on Monday, March 6. The Flyers enter the match with a record of 3-4. Loyola College Prep lost 16-1 in their recent non-league match against St. Frederick (Monroe, LA)
