Georgia High School Baseball - Cass holds off LaFayette
February 25, 2025: LaFayette, GA 30728 The Cass Colonels baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host LaFayette Ramblers to 4 in the Colonels non-league win on Tuesday.
The Colonels now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rome for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 26. Cass will play a Wolves team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, LaFayette drops to 4-2 on the year. The Ramblers host Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-4. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe lost 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Heritage (Ringgold, GA)
