The East Gaston Warriors baseball squad (Mt. Holly, NC), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC)

With the triumph, North Gaston moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats host South Caldwell (Hudson, NC) to confront the Spartans in a non-league contest on Friday, February 28. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 1-0. South Caldwell won 4-2 in their recent non-league contest against Maiden (Maiden, NC)

The Warriors now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 26. East Gaston will confront a Storm squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Storm record now stands at 1-0.
