In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host New Covenant Gryphons basketball team scored a big 65-41 triumph over the Christ Chapel Academy .

The Gryphons (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 17-10 record. In their last contest, The Carmel School smashed Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA), 89-75, in a non-league contest.
