The Marquette Catholic Blazers basketball squad (Michigan City, IN), was nudged 68-66 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Victory Christian Academy Lions (Valparaiso, IN)

With the victory, Victory Christian Academy advances its record to 19-8 on the year. The Lions host Saint Thomas More Academy (South Bend, IN) to meet the Griffins in a South Shore battle on Thursday, February 27. The Griffins enter the battle with a record of 5-7. Saint Thomas More Academy won 57-30 in their recent league battle against Portage Christian (Portage, IN)

The Blazers now own a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kouts for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 5.
