The Ridgway Demons basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Telluride Miners to 50 in the Demons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Demons now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Dove Creek for a 3A/2A/1A San Juan game on Thursday, February 27. Ridgway will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-49 league loss to Ouray (Ouray, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Telluride falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Nucla (Nucla, CO) to play the Mustangs in a 3A/2A/1A San Juan game on Friday, February 28. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 15-7. Nucla won 65-48 in their recent league game against Ouray (Ouray, CO)
