February 25, 2025: Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870 Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC), 56-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Roanoke Rapids advances its record to 14-8 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Friday, February 28. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 22-6. South Granville won 89-59 in their recent non-league match against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC)
The Stallions now own a 14-8 record.
