The Father Ryan Irish basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles to 49 in the Irish non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Irish now possess a 22-5 record. They play next when they travel to Christ Presbyterian Academy for a Division II-AA Middle game on Friday, February 28. Father Ryan will confront a Lions team coming off a 49-45 league win over Ensworth (Nashville, TN). The Lions record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, St. Benedict at Auburndale falls to 12-11 on the campaign.
