February 25, 2025: Lexington, GA 30648 The Oglethorpe County Patriots soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Jefferson County Warriors to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Patriots now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hart County for a non-league bout on Friday, February 28. Oglethorpe County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Jefferson County moves to 2-3 on the year. The Warriors host Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 27.
