Alabama High School Softball - Smiths Station can't get by Beauregard
February 25, 2025: Opelika, AL 36804 Beauregard Hornets (Opelika, AL) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Smiths Station Panthers (Smiths, AL), 9-8 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Beauregard upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Hornets host Beulah (Valley, AL) to play the Bobcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 26. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 1-2. Beulah lost 10-2 in their recent non-league game against Handley (Roanoke, AL)
The Panthers now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Glenwood for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. Smiths Station will play a Gators squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Gators record now stands at 4-3.
