Lamar Silver Foxes (Lamar, SC) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC), 11-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Lamar upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Silver Foxes travel to Carvers Bay (Hemingway, SC) to play the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, February 28. The Bears enter the game with a record of 0-0.

The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Marion for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27.
