The Redwood Giants softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Montgomery Vikings to 4 in the Giants non-league win on Tuesday.

The Giants now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alameda for a non-league battle on Friday, February 28.

With the loss, Montgomery moves to 0-2 on the season. The Vikings host Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA) to confront the Dragons in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. The Dragons come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Sonoma Valley lost 14-3 in their recent non-league battle against Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA)
