The Greenway Demons baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Buckeye Hawks to 6 in the Demons non-league win on Wednesday.

The Demons now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Deer Valley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 3. Greenway will encounter a Skyhawks squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Skyhawks record now stands at 1-2.

The Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Kellis (Glendale, AZ). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Kellis by Dysart (El Mirage, AZ), 7-2, in a non-league challenge.
