Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) and the host Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA), observed Griffin's baseball squad nip Morrow by a final score of 8-7.

With the triumph, Griffin moves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bears host Therrell (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 28. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

The Mustangs now possess a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a non-league contest on Monday, March 2. Morrow will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-2.
