The Ponte Vedra Sharks softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Clay Blue Devils to 2 in the Sharks non-league win on Wednesday.

The Sharks now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fleming Island for a non-league battle on Friday, February 27. Ponte Vedra will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Nease (Ponte Vedra, FL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-0.

The Blue Devils (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Orange Park (Orange Park, FL). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Orange Park was routed by Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL), 9-2, in a non-league test.
