Texas High School Baseball - Westfield loses to Sterling
February 26, 2021: Baytown, TX 77521 The Westfield Mustangs baseball team (Houston, TX), was overwhelmed 13-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX)
The Rangers now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cypress Lakes for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 27. Sterling will confront a Spartans team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Westfield falls to 2-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, February 26. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-1. Fort Bend Kempner lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against South Houston (South Houston, TX)
