In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) baseball squad the host Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), by a margin of 3-1.

With the win, Perry betters its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pumas travel to Skyline (Mesa, AZ) to encounter the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Skyline won 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ)

With the defeat, Saguaro falls to 0-3 on the season. The Sabercats host Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ) to encounter the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 1.
