Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Wake Sabres (Fuquay-Varina, NC) and the visiting South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC), saw South Wake's basketball squad knock off South Charlotte Thunder by a count of 66-54.

With the victory, South Wake upgrades its record to 20-12 on the campaign. The Sabres travel to Fredericksburg Victory (Fredericksburg, VA) to play the in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The come into the challenge with a record of 5-6.

Next up, the Thunder play the Ignite HomeSchool Flames (Hurricane, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 8. South Charlotte Thunder will attempt to upgrade on its 19-11 season record.
