Virginia High School Basketball - Hopewell succumbs to New Kent

The New Kent Trojans topped the host Hopewell Blue Devils basketball team by a final score of 50-33 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 1. New Kent will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 13-5 record after their 55-36 non-league win over Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA).

With the defeat, Hopewell moves to 10-6 on the year.
