California High School Softball - Don Lugo holds off El Rancho
February 26, 2022: Chino, CA 91710 Don Lugo Conquistadores (Chino, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA), 2-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Don Lugo improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Conquistadores host Montclair (Montclair, CA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Mt. Baldy game on Tuesday, March 1. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 6-4. Montclair won 24-6 in their recent non-league game against Fontana (Fontana, CA)
In their next game, the Dons clash with the Whittier Cardinals (Whittier, CA) in a Del Rio game, on Thursday, March 3. El Rancho will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 8-8 non-league El Monte (El Monte, CA).
