February 26, 2024: Boaz, AL 35957 Boaz Pirates (Boaz, AL) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Albertville Aggies (Albertville, AL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the Douglas Eagles (Douglas, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 29. Boaz will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL).
The Aggies now possess a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grissom for a 7A Area 7 challenge on Monday, March 4. Albertville will confront a Tigers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Norcross (Norcross, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.
