The Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) baseball got by the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Triton for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Lee County will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
