The Millbrook Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Cary Imps to 2 in the Wildcats non-league win on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Rockingham County for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Millbrook will play a Cougars team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Cary drops to 0-1 on the year. The Imps host Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to play the Catamounts in a Southwest Wake 4A test on Tuesday, March 4. The Catamounts go into the test with a record of 1-1.
