Louisiana High School Baseball - Slaughter Community Charter wallops McKinley
February 26, 2025: Slaughter, LA 70777 The Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) baseball trounced the visiting McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA), 18-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Madison Prep Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Slaughter Community Charter will clash with a team coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA). The record now stands at 0-8.
With the defeat, McKinley drops to 1-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Tara (Baton Rouge, LA) to clash with the Trojans in a 4A District 6 challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Tara lost 26-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA)
