North Carolina High School Baseball - West Johnston defeats South Columbus
February 26, 2025: Benson, NC 27504 In Wednesday's non-league game, the host West Johnston Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the South Columbus Stallions.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Cape Fear was overwhelmed by Triton (Erwin, NC), 4-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Stallions face the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 28. South Columbus will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Scorpions enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC).
