St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Bergen Catholic Crusaders (Oradell, NJ), 72-68 in a non-league match.

With the victory, St. Rose advances its record to 17-6 on the year.

The Crusaders now own a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gill St. Bernard's for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. Bergen Catholic will face a Knights squad coming off a 52-46 league win over Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 17-5.
