The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX), saw Southwest's baseball squad overcome Jourdanton by a final score of 10-1.

With the triumph, Southwest moves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Dragons host Lubbock (Lubbock, TX) to confront the Westerners in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 26. The Westerners come into the contest with a record of 0-7. Lubbock lost 6-4 in their recent non-league contest against Americas (El Paso, TX)

The Indians/Squaws now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rowe for a non-league contest on Friday, February 27. Jourdanton will face a Warriors team coming off a 4-3 league win over McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
