The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Shadow Ridge Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV), saw Shadow Ridge's softball squad beat Basic by a score of 16-1.

With the triumph, Shadow Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Dragons in a 5A South - Desert contest on Monday, March 2. The Dragons enter the contest with a record of 5-1. Doral Academy Red Rock lost 5-3 in their recent non-league contest against Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV)
